EYSM2027 marks a historic milestone: “The GOLDEN Anniversary” — Generations Of Learning, Discovery, Excellence and Networking — celebrating 50 years of European Young Statisticians.

For five decades, the European Young Statisticians Meeting (EYSM), under the auspices of the Bernoulli Society, has brought together young statisticians from across Europe to exchange ideas, showcase their research, and build lasting collaborations. Over the years, it has fostered scientific excellence, international cooperation, and a vibrant community of researchers.

In 2027, EYSM returns to the United Kingdom, where the very first meeting was held almost 50 years ago, bringing its journey full circle. This special anniversary edition will honour the meeting’s rich legacy, reconnect past and present generations of statisticians, and look ahead to the future of probability and statistics.

Hosted in London, with the support of Imperial College London and the University of Leicester, EYSM2027 will celebrate five decades of scientific achievement, friendship, and collaboration, while inspiring the next generation of European statisticians.
